ZIOSHOW.com Sound reinforcement for the group was provided by HAS Production Services and the Aero 38A, D.A.S. Audio's new self-powered linear array system. Larry Hall was in charge of the event's sound reinforcement placing four self-powered Aero 38A speakers with an additional four CA-28A self-powered speakers for front fill at each side of the stage. The smaller CA-28A speakers were flown directly below the Aero 38A enclosures using the AX-Combo support structure which allows for combined rigging and support.

FOH Online and FOH Magazine Being in this biz for only 10 years, I guess it's safe to say that I am a baby. All of the biggest houses in the biz have been around for an average of 30-plus years, and a recent FOH poll revealed that a very small percentage of sound hire companies' owners are under the age of 40. I just celebrated my 38th birthday.

Entertainment Technology - Asia The 42nd annual Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards returned to Las Vegas this past May 15th. Hosted by superstar Reba McEntire, several of country music's biggest stars performed as part of the celebration - but the ACM Awards show wasn't the only game in town. The festivities included both pre- and after- awards show parties, and for these gala events, Las Vegas-based H.A.S. Productions provided sound reinforcement using a collection of loudspeakers from the D.A.S. Audio Aero catalog.

Front of House Magazine There is a part of Vegas known to its denizens, every cab driver in town and a large percentage of male tourists and convention-goes as "The Fun Zone" . Once the industrial guts that supported the glitzy Strip, as Vegas has shed its attempt at being a 'family' destination and moved ever further in the 'what happens here stays here- it's a place for adults to go and be bad' direction, the warehouses, light industrial and machine stops have been joined by a bunch of strip clubs of varying degrees of raunch, debauchery and even attempts at real class. (Not that I know from experience, but I've heard) and it makes getting directions to Larry Hall's HQ a bit more interesting.

ProSound News Albuquerque, NM (October 8, 2004)--H.A.S. Productions, a regional touring operator-based in Las Vegas, NV has added the DAS Aero 28 Line Array to its inventory. "The self powered Aero 28 is a perfect fit for many of our clients," stated Larry Hall owner of H.A.S. Productions. Hall continued, "The wide 120 degree dispersion and two person hang that saves on labor costs made it an easy choice."

PROSOUND WEB Somehow, some way, we find ourselves in this together... It’s Saturday, about 10 am, and I’m in Las Vegas for at least the 40th time in the past dozen years, sitting in the coffee shop of the Silverton casino following an on-time arrival (thank you Southwest Airlines!) to hook up with Larry Hall and Kevin Hill (U.S. sales manager for D.A.S. Audio.). I’ve met Kevin once prior at a trade show, and have never spoken with Larry.

EM Acoustics Professional Loudspeaker Company After being approached by Larry Hall of H.A.S Productions in Las Vegas, we learnt how he was tired of having to use many different bass enclosures with the wide range of touring mid/high systems he currently uses. To cover all his applications, he demanded an enclosure that combined an extremely flat response from 30Hz to 200Hz with the capacity for extreme SPL. In short he was asking for the frequency range of a large reflex enclosure, but with the power and clarity that only horn loading will provide - an almost impossible task.

InfoComm International Las Vegas-based H.A.S. Productions Inc., a provider of live event services, including concert audio production, lighting, staging, and backline, was contracted to handle sound for the Walker and Rodriguez concerts. With a capacity of 6,500 seats arranged in three tiers - floor, mid, and upper levels - the Star of the Desert Arena is what some concert veterans might refer to as an "intimate" space. Making certain that the venue receives clean, even coverage throughout the entire arena is, nonetheless, a task that requires knowledge and experience. For H.A.S. Productions, which routinely provides sound for the venue's numerous and varied events, the decision to deploy their D.A.S. Audio rig met with resounding approval.
